Australian Reformation Conversation

Background

During a holiday getaway in Jun 2020 along the scenic coastline of the Apollo Bay, two families, the Lims and the Laws, were talking about the beauty of the reformation heritage which were left by the reformers. The reformation left us with among other things, various creeds and confessions such as the Belgic confession, Westminster’s confession, 1689 Baptist confession of Faith which we have today. We felt privileged to be enjoying the fruits of the reformation which sprouted in the early 15th Century, but whose seeds were sown even as early as in the 13th Century. We have enjoyed the effects of the reformation in both our families and desired that more Christians will come to appreciate the beauty of the reformation and the effects it should have on family, Christendom and society today. Both the Lims and the Laws came from different presbyterian denominations, and there is a desire to see more unity among the reformed churches in Australia for the cause of the reformation.  We decided to host a week-long Reformation Online Summit leading up to the Reformation Day on the 31st Oct 2020. With this the ARC was born.
